December’s not cold as it ever was. Songs and stories lay snow down over memories in my mind. Christmas is here, it’s time. But it’s 50 degrees and not freezing at sunrise. Christmas is here, but we can’t hold close those we wish to draw near.
This Christmas won’t be the same as it ever has. Fabric faces take place of warm smiles(?): still got memories in my mind. Christmas is here, it’s time, and it means the same as it did the last time. Christmas is here, and I’m thankful for each I have to hold dear.
